Ia Bergman

Ia Bergman joined Palamon in 2019 and became an Associate Partner in 2023. She sits on the board of investee companies Happy Socks and The Rug Company and led the exit of Feelunique. Prior to joining Palamon Ia provided strategy consultancy services to Palamon portfolio company The Rug Company. Before this, she co-founded and was CEO of at{mine}, an online social platform in the home interiors space, which she subsequently sold to a competitor, part of the Bertelsmann group, in 2017. 

From 2006-2012 Ia held various roles within the Credit Risk Management & Advisory group at Goldman Sachs International, looking after part of the firm’s EMEA credit portfolio. She also has prior bulge bracket investment banking experience.

Ia holds a MSc in Business Administration & Management from Stockholm School of Economics.

She is a Swedish national and is fluent in German and English
