Ron Sandler CBE

Ron Sandler CBE is Chairman of Paternoster Limited, Phoenix Group and Ironshore Inc and serves on the board of Towry. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of NatWest Group and Chief Executive of Lloyd's of London. Mr Sandler also served as Executive Chairman of Northern Rock plc between 2008 and 2011, during its period of public ownership. He is a past-president of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and in 2002 he led an independent review of the UK Long Term Savings Industry. His early career was spent with The Boston Consulting Group.
